The eight-speed automatic transmission works with a standard rear-wheel-drive system. If you want more traction, consider the four-wheel-drive system, which is optional and comes with a two-speed transfer case. Plus, the hybrid system known as the i-Force Max engine can produce 326 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque. The standard four-wheel drive continues to make your time on or off-road in the Toyota 4Runner easy.
Choose off-road-oriented trim levels like the TRD Off-Road for all-terrain tires, off-road shock absorbers, a locking rear differential, and more.
